This Italian Monte Cristo sandwich was inspired by the traditional Monte Cristo, but of course, we had to put our own spin on it. Piled high with ham, salami, prosciutto, and coppa, topped with shredded Italian cheeses, and dipped in an egg and half and half mixture, this Italian sandwich made on the flat top grill griddle be your new favorite!
But that parmesan cheese crust is the kicker! After you dip your focaccia sandwich in the egg mixture, then you coat it with shredded parmesan. Then put it on the Camp Chef or Blackstone flat top grill in a little pad of butter. Delicious!
